He is the founder and visionary of the group Candela which has delighted audiences for a couple of years. In addition, he has performed and toured throughout South America, Europe, Africa, working with likes of Jesús “Chucho” Valdés, Eddie Palmieri, Carlos Santana, and José Luis “Changuito” Quintana. As a composer, Edgardo has been commissioned by the 2006 Latin Grammy winners “PMO” to write down authentic works, and his free Latin Percussion instructional Youtube movies have reached millions of viewers worldwide.
