While parks like Zion and Arches have seen an influx in guests if you’re looking for some serene trekking on your own outdoors consider visiting Capitol Reef or Canyonlands National Park. If you go to Capitol Reef National Park, remember to visit Gifford Homestead and stock up on selfmade cinnamon rolls and mini pies with fresh elements from the orchards throughout the park. Over at Canyonlands National Park the Murphy Point Trail is a great winter hike and White Rim Overlook is another simple hike to do.
