Though still a little rough across the edges, Vietnam’s transport network is continuing to enhance. Most travel takes place on the roads, which are largely of decent quality surface-wise. Trains run alongside Highway 1, and their sleeper berths are much more snug than buses for longer journeys. Lastly, the domestic flight network continues to evolve, and a budget, comfortable companies could prevent days’ worth of journey by highway or rail.
